Recreation Job Requirements / Expectations

Requirements

 Exhibit maturity, safety awareness, responsibility, enthusiasm, and flexibility.

Counselors must be at least 14 years old and entering high school

Must be available for the entire camp season (7 weeks starting July 1^st)

Experience working with children preferred

Strong swimming and water safety experience/awareness preferred

Willingness and desire to create fun memories with campers required

Expectations

Actively supervise campers at all times, in all aspects of camp.

Must safely watch and supervise campers in both ocean and pool

Plan, organize, and conduct activities / games / crafts.

Communicate with camp supervisor and directors

Adhere to, and reinforce, camp safety guidelines.

Care for camp supplies and equipment.
