Beach Club

Membership Application

Beach Club Booklet

Dear Members:

Welcome to the 2017 season of the Allenhurst Beach Club. This year we are happy to announce that applications can be completed and submitted online. Please visit our Allenhurst Beach Club Website to access the application at http://www.abc1897.com. Paper applications will still be accepted. Hours of operation for the 2017 are outlined on the following page of this booklet.

Each member must have a current picture on file to enter the Beach Club.  An audit of all memberships will be done prior to the club opening to make sure every member has a current picture.  Security will host a picture day to get your picture taken prior to the club opening and you can also have your picture taken at any of the club gates.  No one will be able to enter the club without a current picture on file.

The new Allen Avenue entrance has been completed and is now open for members to use. This entrance has a handicap ramp. Daily beach badges can also be purchased at this location. Additionally, a new beach boardwalk from Allen Avenue down to the cabanas has been installed.

The Recreation Program and Swim Team will be returning this year under the direction of Warren Towns. The program shall be open to all children who are members of the Allenhurst Beach Club between the ages of five years and twelve years, at the discretion of the Recreation Director. More information on the program will be available at the Club.

Tina Pritzlaff, our yoga instructor will be returning to teach yoga on the oceanfront. Heather Wanner will be back to direct the youth dances. Currently, four dances are scheduled for this season and will be held at Mr. C’s.

This year we launch the new and improved SS Allenhurst shuttle bus and we will be piloting a program of regular scheduled stops (weekends and holidays) in West Allenhurst, Interlaken and Loch Arbour. The purpose of this shuttle is to alleviate the parking situation in town. We encourage members in those neighboring towns, as well as Allenhurst residents, to utilize the bus service as needed.

The Allenhurst Fire Department will once again be selling raffle tickets to win a prime parking space at the Beach Club. The winners will be able to pick a spot either at the cabana or main entrance.

This year due to space limitations we are introducing tagging procedures for storage of chairs for both cabanas and lockers. We will update all members once the procedures are finalized.

Also enclosed is the order form for the Lacks Outdoor furniture. They offer navy blue beach chairs and umbrellas.  Members who would like to order beach chairs can contact Lacks directly.

We are all looking forward to a great summer and wish you and your family an enjoyable season at the beautiful Allenhurst Beach Club.
